What does “Authentication failed” or “Login unsuccessful” mean?
This message means your login went through, but your email and password didn’t match any active account.
Try this first

Double-check that you’re using the same email address you used when you signed up (no extra spaces, correct spelling).

Re-type your password manually (avoid copying/pasting hidden characters).

Confirm you’re logging into the correct portal (Learner Portal vs. other Umuzi tools).
If it still fails

If you’re a first-time user, you may need to set up your account first (use the “Set up your account” action on the login card).

If you recently changed your password, make sure you’re using the new password.
